Yale University developed an index measuring the effectiveness of environmental policies in different parts of the world. Researchers judged the work of policies by analyzing several variables that were categorized as Environmental Health or Ecosystem Vitality. The project took into account population and GDP while acquiring information on water access and sanitation, disease, forestry, agriculture and climate change indicators, among others. Specific data is available for every country under study in tables, charts and maps.
